In these Terms & Conditions, “Event” means the event for which You have purchased a ticket, “the Promoter”, “we”, “us” and “our” means Eastbourne Pride Ltd and any associated promoter(s) of the Event; “you”, “your” and “ticket holder” means you as the ticket holder, “ticket” means any valid ticket or wristband which permits you to attend the Event or any valid wristband for which you have exchanged your ticket at the Event.

These Terms and Conditions incorporate and should be read in conjunction with, the terms and conditions of the authorised ticket agent (FIXR.CO) from which you purchased your ticket which are available on the website of the relevant ticket agent. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions of the relevant authorised ticket agent, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

All tickets are sold subject to these Terms and Conditions. Purchase and/or use of a ticket/s to enter the Event constitute acceptance of these Terms and Conditions on your behalf and on behalf of any person for whom you are purchasing tickets.

The Promoter reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions from time to time without notice and at our sole discretion. Updates will be published on the Eastbourne Pride website.

All third party complimentary tickets and ‘free tickets’ including guest list admission for ANY Eastbourne Pride event are subject to the same TCs list here. This includes but not limited to; all third party offerings/competition giveaways/promotional tickets, where winners/recipients will be allocated randomly from chosen entrants selected across ALL third party media platform.

Directives and statements printed on the tickets, posted or announced at the Event also form part of the Terms and Conditions of entry to the Event.

In the instance of a breach of any of the Terms and Conditions the Promoter reserves the right to cancel the ticket/s and eject the offender/s and retain all monies paid.

The Promotor reserves the right to refuse entry to any person without prejudice.

All sales are final, we operate a NO REFUND POLICY on any tickets purchased. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the entire Festival is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event as defined below. If the Entire Festival is cancelled due to a Force Majeure Event you will be offered tickets at any rescheduled event (subject to availability) up to the value of the ticket excluding the administration fee, booking fee Force Majeure Event means any circumstance outside a party’s reasonable control including without limitation:

acts of God, flood, drought, earthquake or other natural disasters;

death or serious illness of any senior member of the Royal Family, being the Head of State or consort, the Prince of Wales or consort, or the children or grandchildren of any of them);

epidemic or pandemic;

terrorist attack, civil war, civil commotion or riots, war, the threat of or preparation for war, armed conflict, the imposition of sanctions, embargo, or breaking off of diplomatic relations;

nuclear, chemical or biological contamination or sonic boom; any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, or failing to grant a necessary licence or consent; the collapse of buildings, fire, explosion or accident; any labour or trade dispute, strikes, industrial action or lockouts; non-performance by suppliers or subcontractors; andinterruption or failure of utility service.

We only store data in compliance with the 1998 Data Protection Act/The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and never save your bank card or payment details.

Covid-19

The event will be run in line with the current government guidance for operating events safely during Covid-19

Any additional costs for the individual that may be associated with being compliant for entry including, but not exclusively: wearing a face covering; having a Covid-19 test; the use of the NHS Test and Trace app and other possible measures which might be implemented by the government for the delivery of safe events; must be borne by the customer and are not included in the ticket price.

Eastbourne Pride Ltd reserve the right to change and amend the terms and conditions of entry at any time in line with the current government guidance for operating events safely during Covid-19

Tickets

Only customers holding a valid wristband will be admitted to the Event. You must wear your wristband at all times during the Event.

All Pre Release tickets are limited to 2 per person to allow more people to benefit from the more affordable tickets and prevent bulk buying and selling-on (touting). A maximum of 4 tickets per booker is permitted.

Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable. Re-sale or attempted re-sale is not allowed. With the exception of the event being cancelled due to Government enforced Covid-19 restrictions all tickets will be transferred to the rescheduled date.

Tickets, wristbands or other forms of accreditation to the Event are personal revocable licences and shall at all times remain the property of the Promoter and for security purposes, and may be recalled at any time.

Tickets may not be used as part of a promotion, competition, advertising, or be given away as part of a product or service package or for commercial gain without the permission of the Promoter. Any attempt to do so will result in the ticket being void and any person holding such a ticket will be refused entry to, or ejected from the Event without refund.

The Promoter is not liable for lost, stolen or defaced tickets or wristbands. If a customer loses their wristband, they will not be able to re-enter the Event. All wristbands will be checked when entering and leaving the Event.

Your ticket may be invalidated if any part of it is removed, defaced or altered.

Upon purchase please check tickets carefully as mistakes cannot always be rectified after purchase. Tickets are not issued on a sale or return basis and refunds will not be made on returned tickets unless provided for under these Terms and Conditions.

All tickets that have the ‘cash value’ are subject to a £1 charity donation ‘ring-fence’ fee which is applied in the face value of the ticket price. This means £2 from each, ticket sold will be donated to our chosen charities.Free tickets and guest list tickets are not subject to this ‘ring-fence’.

Entry Conditions

Alcohol Policies

We will be operating and enforcing a strict Challenge 25 policy at all our bars. If you can’t provide valid identification when requested, you will not be served alcohol and you will be asked to leave the site and come back with your ID. So if you are lucky enough to look 25 or younger, please, make sure that you bring an acceptable form of identification. Please note we only accept a driving licence or passport as a valid ID. All under 18s must be accompanied by adults (18+) at all times while on the event site.

Bag Policies

  • Small Bags up to (20cm wide x 30cm high x 20cm deep) are allowed into the event sites.
  • You may be refused entry if you bring a large bag.
  • We do not have storage for bags on site.
  • Eastbourne Pride operate a bag search policy at all gates. You may also be searched using a pat-down method or a security wand based on behaviour profiling.

Code of Conduct

We expect everyone attending Eastbourne Pride to behave in a manner consistent with the celebration of Eastbourne and the positive value of diversity and identity in the LGBT+ communities.

Any offensive behaviour including homophobia, transphobia, racism or sexism will not be tolerated.

All staff, security personnel, medical teams, Police, Fire and Ambulance should be treated with respect. Any incident of harassment towards anyone working on the event may be reported to the Police and dealt with accordingly.

Please comply with requests/directions from staff regarding event operations.

Complaints

If you have a complaint during the event please report it to a member of staff in the first instance. If your complaint requires further investigation, please, write to info@crgroupltd.com to be investigated and responded to appropriately.

Data Protection

Drones

Drones/UAV’s (Unmanned Ariel Vehicles) are remote-controlled aeroplanes, helicopters or other flying models often fitted with a camera.

General use of drones and remote-controlled flying models is not permitted on any event site.

Peak entry times are between 1pm and 3pm with expected queues of 45-60 minutes at this time.

All patrons will be searched and patrons with bags will be required to go to the bag search lines. You may wish to avoid bringing bags as this should speed up entry. Restricted items include but are not limited to:

Permitted

Prescribed medication. If you need to take medication we strongly advise you to contact our Accessibility team to be issued with a pass that will indicate you are carrying medication. This will be assessed on the day by our medical team before permitting entry.

Re-usable non-glass drinks bottles (there will be signposted water points in the park)

Pushchairs

Only fold up/ telescopic umbrellas allowed (no golfing umbrellas!)

Cameras with three-inch lenses or shorter.

Prohibited items

No illegal or psychoactive substances

No dangerous or hazardous items

No glass

No Liquids (except water or sunscreen)

No alcohol

No food for sale. No hampers.

No suitcases & large rucksacks or bags (over A4 size)

No disposable BBQ’s (including green heat base camp cookers, solid fuel stoves etc.)

No Fireworks, flares or pyrotechnics

No inflatables or Chinese lanterns

No large umbrellas (parasols) (folding umbrellas ok)

No flag poles (over 50cm)

No flyers for distribution

No posters, signs or banners that could be deemed offensive

No goods for unauthorised trading (or with unauthorised Pride logos)

No lasers or laser pens

No unofficial tabards or reflective jackets

No sun loungers – folder up chairs are permitted.

No super soakers or water pistols

No air horns, megaphones, klaxon’s similar

No spray cans, aerosols or gas canisters

No bicycles, skateboards or scooters

No drones

No animals (with the exception of assistance dogs)

No unauthorised professional commercial photography

You must consent to search on entry to the event

Children U18 must be accompanied by an adult over 21. A maximum of 2 children per adult

Challenge 25 is in operation at all bars

Confiscated items will NOT be returned

Our security measures are under constant review and may need to change at short notice. Please check back for up-to-date information.

Management reserve the right to refuse admission.

By attending the event, you give your express consent to your actual or simulated likeness being included within any film, photograph, audio and/or audio-visual recording to be exploited in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world, the copyright to which shall be owned by the Promoter or its contractors without payment or compensation.
